Backgrounds to Bindings

It's here!  It's here!  I am so beyond excited!  I've practically been holding my breath since last year, waiting for today to come!  My Cloth Paper Scissors Workshop Video is here!

It's almost 2 hours long, and it is chock full of ideas for printing backgrounds, mixing your colors and several different quick ways to bind your journals without sewing!

I had such a wonderful time with the Editor Jenn Mason, and the crew and staff of Cloth Paper Scissors as I filmed this!  They were awesome and supportive, and made it very comfortable for me to be able to share this information with you!

Cloth Paper Scissors Studios

I have been a travellin' madwoman lately! I have been away from home LITERALLY for the last month and a half! Over a month in Mexico, then a couple weeks in TN for family visits, and 4 workshops. (more on them later!) Got home last night, and am crazily beginning to dig out from avalanches of mail, emails, dirty clothes, no groceries... What did I find? A fantastic email! Whoo-Hoo! So excited to be in Cloth Paper Scissors Studios Magazine! And in the copy with Ty Pennington on the cover no less! Tickled doesn't begin to describe it!

It's in it's in!

Recieved word just a few days ago that my mini book DID make the cut, and is one that will be featured in the Jan/Feb issue of Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy!

I'm a finalist!

I got a notification the other day, that I am a finalist in the Cloth, Paper, Scissors Mini Book Challenge. It's the first time I ever submitted anything to that particular magazine, so I am pretty excited! It's less than 4" wide x 5" tall, and all the pages were illustrated by me. I had so much fun developing my own fonts for this project.
